On March 31st, 2006, Aimee - Lilly Wust - one of the two main characters of Erica Fischer's book "Aimee & Jaguar" passed away. Two voluminous suitcases , in which Lilly had kept all the letters, poems by Felice, her papers, photographs - were, according to Lilly's will, given to the Jewish museum in Berlin. Once Lilly had wished the suitcases were sent to Yad Vashem upon her death, but several years ago she changed her mind, having stated in one of her interviews that she didn't want Felice to get lost among millions of the perished, that she had to remain in the land where she had been born.
